Fractured permanent front teeth need long-term monitoring. If the nerve of the tooth is not exposed, there is still a risk that the nerve may die due to the impact of the trauma.

Once the fractured tooth is restored using a white filling material, these teeth can remain a little sensitive for a few months following the restoration.

Nail-biting can damage the restoration and therefore should be avoided.
